Description

We are looking for a person to help us revise and create reading assessments for students in grades 5-8. This person should be experienced with creating reading assessments for students at this age range; both multiple choice and open-ended responses. Familiarity with New York State Tests is a plus, but not mandatory. 

This is a fully remote position. 

Requirements

Experience creating ELA tests for middle school students (5+ years)

Ability to create polished, high-quality student facing materials

Ability to revise existing assessments

Approximately 6-8 test revisions needed per grade. Delivery of material can be staggered over several months

Ideal candidate can start immediately

Sample test must be provided to be considered for position

Compensation commensurate with experience/negotiable/competitive
