Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development invites applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in Literacy Education within the Department of Language and Literacy Education. We seek a colleague with expertise in early literacy development, reading foundations, and supporting students experiencing reading difficulties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of scientifically-based research related to reading and writing development and instruction, including supporting students with disabilities and multilingual students, as well as knowledge of critical theories and a demonstrated commitment to culturally and linguistically sustaining pedagogies and practices. The Language and Literacy Education Department is a community of scholars
