Position Description: Gill St. Bernard’s School invites applications for the position of Upper School English Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates must have a degree in English or a related field and significant experience teaching English at the secondary level. Preferred candidates will have significant experience teaching world literature in a writing-intensive curriculum and a record of demonstrated excellence in teaching. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience teaching AP/IB/GCSE courses, mentoring and coaching adolescents, and leading both domestic and international service-learning trips.
