The Prairie School English Department is seeking an energetic, outgoing professional to join our high school for the 2023-2024 school year. To be successful in the classroom, the candidate must first and foremost have a passion for teaching adolescents and possess exceptional pedagogical skills. The successful candidate must be able to collaborate with 9th & 10th-grade students through a variety of innovative pedagogical methods emphasizing mastery and encouraging each student to reach his or her highest potential. The successful candidate must demonstrate a growth mindset and a joyful, energetic approach to working with students from diverse backgrounds. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required.  A Master’s degree along with 3-5 years of teaching experience in a related field is preferred.  Qualified candidates will possess a passion for inclusion and community efforts.
