Job Description Orinda Academy seeks a full-time English & Humanities teacher for the 2023-2024 academic year. The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and experience teaching classic and contemporary literature, reflecting a global perspective, to students in grades 8 through 12 with learning differences. The ability to effectively foster a deeper understanding and critical analysis of literature, to enhance structured and creative writing skills, and to instruct in the areas of media literacy and research are sought after attributes. The position requires work hours on campus Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., some evenings and weekends, as needed, and annual “Educational Adventures” travel. Who
