Salary: $80K-$105K.
Berkeley Carroll is a Pre-K through grade 12 college preparatory school of close to 1000 students located in the Park Slope section of New York City. Our vibrant intellectual community draws students from all over the city, admission to the school is competitive, and both our parents and students value achievement.
We seek an experienced English teacher to join our Upper School faculty. This person will co-teach one section of our double-period interdisciplinary American Studies course and teach two additional courses (electives, 9th grade, or a combination). The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant teaching experience, strong content knowledge, strong organizational skills, a particular interest in writing instruction, and a love of teaching high school students. Experience with team- and/or interdisciplinary teaching is of interest but not required. We seek faculty members excited to engage in student life by advising students, leading a co-curricular or affinity group, and/or coaching a team.

Salary and benefits are highly competitive and will be offered commensurate with experience and credentials. The salary range for this position is $80K-$105K.
